Meet Christy Burnham

Founder of Launching Her

Christy Burnham is an executive, entrepreneur, and career strategist with more than 20 years of experience working in business intelligence, analytics, data, technology, and organizational leadership.

Throughout her career, Christy has worked across industries and organizations, leading complex initiatives, building teams, solving business problems, and seeing firsthand what separates talented professionals who simply do good work from those who learn how to build successful, sustainable careers.

She holds a Master's degree in Decision Science from Georgia State University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and International Studies from American University. She has continued her executive and technology education through advanced programs in artificial intelligence, analytics, and AI engineering.

But Launching Her wasn't created simply from an executive's perspective.

It was created from a parent's perspective, too.

Christy understands the strange position parents find themselves in as their children become adults: wanting desperately to help while knowing that ultimately, they have to build lives and careers of their own.

She also recognized a gap.

There is an enormous amount of information available to students about getting through college—and an enormous amount of career advice aimed directly at job seekers. But there are far fewer resources designed specifically for the parents standing beside young women during the transition from college to career.

Christy created Launching Her to fill that gap.

Her goal is to translate decades of leadership and real-world business experience into practical guidance parents can actually use—while keeping young women firmly in the driver's seat of their own careers.
